Can I cancel my order?
[Pre-Order dolls]
Once an order is placed, production of the doll begins. Cancellation of orders is permissable but deposits and all other payments are not refundable. Returns for any reason other than damage, will not be accepted.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Pre-Orders are usually ready to ship in approximately 8-10 weeks. Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2-3 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. Domestic orders are shipped via Priority Mail. International shipping delivery times may vary between 3-5 days and are shipped using EMS. Any in-stock items ordered at the same time as a pre-order will be shipped with the pre-order.
Remember, dolls are made after the order is placed. They are individually hand poured and finished by the artist. This process takes time and your patience is greatly appreciated.

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Yes! Customs fees and tax are the responsibility of the customer. Check with your customs office of your country to determine these costs, if any. Note that refunds will not be given on returned items/dolls due to non-payment of customs fees and/or taxes.
Group orders from international forums are welcome! Contact Lumedoll for details and discounts!
Orders will not be marked as "gift" or under declared in value on customs forms. This is illegal to do in the United States. Please do not ask. Thank you for understanding.

How do I remove a face-up?

I have found the safest way to remove face-ups from Lume doll resin is by using isopropyl alcohol (70% or 91%) and cotton balls. Wet the cotton ball and gently wipe the face until paint and pastels begin to disappear. Rinse, and repeat until the face-up has been removed.
-Soaking resin parts in the alcohol, or any solvent, is not recommended.
-Using brush cleaner or any paint thinner is not advised.

Where can I find additional doll or resin photos?

You can find many pictures in the "Lumedoll Gallery" on Flickr, including resin and size comparisons, owner photos, and extra shots of your favorite Lumedoll! Also, you can upload your favorite photos at Lumedoll Den (pool) at Flickr!

What do I do if my doll is damged?

Damaged products during shipping may be returned and exchanged, however, damages caused by the customer do not qualify for return.
All dolls are inspected before shipping to insure that they are without defects and have any accessory that is noted in the description.
Lumedoll will only accept the doll or part for repair if the doll has been damaged during shipping and we are notified within 3 days of the date of delivery.
Damaged shipments must be reported immediately with the item(s), all papers, packing materials, wrapping, original boxes, etc. retained.
Following inspection, damaged merchandise can be returned for an exchange of the same item only, no exceptions.
If there is a problem with the doll(s) due to shipping, please e-mail Lumedoll and we will begin the process of producing replacement parts or a new doll.

[ Exclusions of Damage ]
Each doll is hand cast at the time of order and from time to time the following occur and are a normal part of the casting procedure. These are not defects and can be expected occasionally.
- Air bubbles : While every measure is taken to reduce or eliminate the occurrence of air bubbles, variables such as weather, resin batches, etc. can cause them to appear. However, the molds have been designed in a way that, when they do occur, they are in less visible or hidden places and do not interfere with the aesthetics of the doll.
- Marbling : This occurs from time to time in darker resin tones like Tan, Bronze, Ebony or Grey. It happens when the pigment separates slightly during the casting process and may be due to humidity/temperature or a particular resin batch.
- Gate Removal Marks : These are most notable on darker skin tones dolls and are usually located on a ball joint. They may fade in time with handling and regular exposure (; to air, as all resin changes gradually over time). If you are sensitive to this, please do not order a doll in a darker skin tone! Seams along parts are not removed.
-Impurities : Although all molds are kept and used in a clean environment, often time the smallest particles can adhere briefly to the inside of the mold and appear in the final cast. If they are large, the piece is discarded and recast, but small impurities are permitted as they are relatively unnoticeable (and even make the doll more unique as a real person would be).
- Face-ups : All face-ups are done with the individual doll in mind, and while default face-ups may be similar to those pictured, they will not be exact. The sample photos depict the style of face-up and are only examples.
- Skin tones : The color of skin tones depicted on the Lumedoll website may vary in appearance on different computer monitors color calibration.
